Who is the man behind the Flyer Esquire?

As a friend of mine often says about himself, “I am many things.”

I am an artist and community organizer who became a lawyer. It was creativity and artistry that propelled me into advocacy and I would argue that it is creativity that has allowed me to succeed.

I think and move differently than other attorneys.

I use to take it offensively when people would comment on my “swagger” or “edge” but now I am fully embracing it.

I started growing my locs nine years ago as an act of rebellion since I was typically the only Black man in court not accused of a crime.

Almost a decade later, after successfully climbing the non-profit legal ladder, I am taking the next step towards fully bringing my talents to the world.A step towards my more fully realized self.
